CRE Loaded Template - Cell Phones

Many of our customers who purchase our Shopping Cart Templates are not comfortable with the tasks needed to install it. The Template Shop offers two a basic installation service. You still retain the ability to customize the cart as you see fit but all of the base installation tasks are completed for you.

  

Installation will be completed within one business day or 3 days depending on which service you purchase after we have received the rquired information for us to access your web server control panel and providing the information you give us is correct.

Here is the information we will need to install your osCommerce Template:

1. FTP Login information:
   ftp.yourwebsite.com
   Username and Password
   Which directory you want the scripts installed to, either the home directory or a directory called catalog.
2. Access to your web server control panel so we can install the database.
3. A way to work with phpMyAdmin from your hosting account;
   
   Usually the phpMyAdmin is in your hosting Control Panel so just send us the username and password to access the Control Panel

Once we have received your order for the Shopping Cart Installation you will receive a immediate response from us requesting the information required to install your CRE Loaded Template.

• Qty Price Break
  • Set up to 10 levels of prices based in the quantity ordered of a given product
  • each product can have its own quantity break points
  • product pages show the quantity breaks price
• Separate Price Per Customer
  • Create unlimited customer groups
  • Set prices on each product for each customer group
  • Assign a customer to a group
• Require Login to see content option
  • A new setting allow you to present only the login page to a non logged in user
  • In this mod only the header and footer of your template appear
  • We hide the left and right columns to ensure no products or prices are shown
  • The login page can contain the create account page or it can be hidden as well.
  • The login page will display a text message you can edit explaining your policy for requiring login.
• Disable Customer Account Creation
  • A new setting allows you to hide or show the create account button on the login page
  • Also hiding the create account button causes the create account page itself to redirect to the login page
  • In this mode the only way to create an account is via the admin
  • The setting can be set to normal operation so that customer can create accounts
• Approve Account option
  • If allowing customer account creation you can queue accounts for approval before their login will be allowed
  • There is a new section in the admin to view pending customer accounts.
  • You can set a pending account to approved, pending, or denied.
  • Setting to Approved send an email
  • The other two settings do not send an email to the customer.
  • When this feature is not engaged, all customers are active but with a pending status. That means that the login are not restricted but in the even you do engage this feature all customers would be restricted until approved.
• Group Access for Products and Categories
  • You can now set which categories and products are displayed.
  • The display can be controller for each customer group and also non logged in users
  • This means that a guest (non logged user) will see only categories and products you want them to see. Once they create account (that is approved, if required), they can see additional categories and products.
  • The same hold true for customer with new customer group status, each group can see a different set of content.
  • The admin for category and product creation and editing has been extended to show the group access for each customer group you create.
• New B2B compatible Templates
  • Due to the fact that Group Access for products and categories requires updates to the infoboxes and main page modules in the templates we have created B2B versions of the existing templates
  • We will release the template side of the code for free to encourage template makers to create B2B compatible templates
• Updates to Easy Populate
  • Easy populate has been modified to support QTY Price break, SPPC and Group Access
  • Qty Break prices appear as additional columns in the main file
  • SPPC are additional ROWS for each product with additional price data
  • There is a new column called customer_group that indicates the SPPC target
  • SPPC is handled like product duplication in more then one category
  • Group Access is controlled by a new column at the end of the file. G,0, is the default for allowing items to be seen by guest and retail customers.
    • G = guest
    • 0 = retail group
    • 1 = first customer group created
    • 2 = second group and so on
