Open up the image you want. I took this pic of a jaguar XJ.

Generally select an area around the glass like so using the polygonal lasso tool and press ctrl+c and then ctrl+v. Name this layer Tinting.

Open up the styles window by going to window>styles.
While on the new layer select the chiseled sky effect and then remove the bevel and emboss effect by pressing the icon that appears near the layer name and then moving the bevel and emboss option to the trash icon at the bottom of the layer box. It should look like so.

Now make the layer invisible by pressing the eye icon next to the layer.
On the original layer using the polygonal lasso tool select the windows and windshield like so and press ctrl+c and then ctrl+v.Name this layer windows.

To make multiple selections first select one area and then hold shift before you start the next area.
Now here's the nice part: First make the tinting layer visible again. Hold ctrl and click down on the windows layer thumbnail and then select the tinting layer. Right click and select inverse and hit delete. That saves time of having to do the selection all over again.

Now all that's left is lowering the opacity of the tinting so that it looks natural.
