#1 - Create a NEW image 500x500

#2 - Create a circle, mine was 106x106 and fill it with the color #C28A57

#3 - Make a new layer now using the rectangle tool make a vertical rectangle. Mine was 25x121

#4 - Now to make it pointed slightly, go to (Edit>Transform>Perspective) And drag the top into the center a bit.

#5 - Still on the rectangle layer, go up to the Layer tab, and click 'Inner Glow'and apply the following settings:

#9 - You have to duplicate (Layer>Duplicate Layer>Ok) the tail feather 4 times so it looks like a full tail.

#10 - Using the Rotate Tool (Edit>FreeTransform>Rotate) rotate each feather slightly in a circle. I then dragged the layer You should end up with something similar to below:

#11 - Whoa! The body is done! How hard was that? I must admit, it does take effort and time to get this far.

#12 - Now that you have your basic turkey body, time for a head.

#13 - I used the rectangle to create a 60x70 rectangle and placed it on top of the next.

#14 - Now this head needs to be shaped a bit. (Edit>Free Transform>Perspective) and point the top to the center a bit.

#15 - Hold down the "Ctrl" key and click the head layer. Now to smooth it out, (Select>Modify>Smooth>8) Now inverse the layer. Select>Inverse or (Shift+CTRL+I)

#16 - Decorate your face the way you want it, with eyes, beak,and that flap of meat. What's it called?

#17 - Your turkey is now complete. I added a hat, grass, and some sky for effects.
