Original Picture

Step1: Open your picture with Photoshop, press Ctrl+J to duplicate your image. When you are editing any picture you should always duplicate it and do all your editing on the copy. Step2: Click on Create new fill or adjustment layer as shown below. Fixing Dark Pictures

When you click on Create new fill or adjustment layer the menu below will come up click on Brightness/Contrast

The Brightness/Contrast window will come up and enter the setting below. Depending on your picture you may have to increase od decrease the setting.

Step3: That's it. Original Picture
