Today we are going to give some cool Effects to a Text. In this tutorial I have used photo shop Tools Like, Horizontal Type Tool, Paint Bucket Tool, and some really cool Effects like Filter > Stylize > Wind effect . Let's get started.

1. First of all open a New Document, use size 29px by 161px. You can choose any color for the background and Text and any size also. This is only for demonstration purpose. Now with the Horizontal Type Tool you write some text using any color you like.

2. I wrote jp with the Horizontal TYpe Tool. Now Double click on the Text Layer and give Effects as you can see in the Image below. What I did is I use blending option mode = normal and then used advanced blending.

3. Adding Bevel and Emboss effect to the text.

4. Here in the Bevel and Emboss > click on Gloss Contour > you will see the Contour Editor. Now do the same as shown below in the contour Editor.

5. After giving all those Effects our Text will look like this.

6. Now click on the Text Layer while pressing ctrl to make the selection. After selection close the Text Layer.

7. Now choose Layer1 and fill any color in the selection with the help of Paint Bucket Tool.

8. Here go to Filter > Stylize > click on Wind > give From the Right and From the Left Effect.

9. Now again go to the Filter > Distort > click on Ripple and give Effects as shown Below.

10. Here Click on Text Layer while pressing ctrl to make selection. After selection click on Layer1 and delete.

11. Now go to Image > Adjustment > click on Threshold.

12. Now click on Text Layer (jp). Now our Text will look like this. As shown below.

13. Complete Image.
