Eyes in Green Pea Pod

Summary: This photoshop tutorial will teach you to draw a green pea and put eyes in place of peas. Funny looking.


1. First of all create a new document , here i have used width-300 and height-300 with resolution 72.


2. I will Elliptical marquee tool draw the shape. Now in layer window, select a new layer and with the help of Gradient tool color it. Use #7A89B4 and # 2E3758. Press Ctrl+D to deselect.


3. Now press Ctrl+J to make a copy of layer 1.


4. Press Ctrl and click on the new layer to select it. Then fill black color using paint bucket tool. Now press Ctrl+T to use transform selection and drag to reduce the black circle. now press Enter.



5. Make another Shape as shown and fill color. use same procedure as described above. Fill it with color #C2D1E8.


6. Select all layers using Ctrl+E and merge them.


7. Take the Pen tool and draw an eye shape. right click > make selection > new layer and fill color #D3FAC1. then deselect.



8. Press Ctrl+J to make a copy and use Gradient tool to fill the color # 3C761F and # 72BD5E.


9. Press Ctrl+T and with the help of mouse drag the corner of transform while pressing Alt+shift.


10. Here click on layer 2 while pressing ctrl and then select marquee tool. Right click > stroke and make selection as shown below.


11. You will the image as shown below.


12. Draw the new shape using polygonal lasso tool and fill color as shown.


13. Select layer 1 and press Ctrl+J to make a copy. Now use move tool to slide.


14. Merge all the layers now.


15. Double click on merged layer 2 and in layer style use Drop Shadow opacity-75 / distance-10 / spread - 0 / size-6.
